The National Nutrition Agency (NANA) in collaboration with the Catholic Relief Service (CRS) has on Tuesday concluded five days capacity building Training of Trainers (ToT), on the use of Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) on Life Scale Food Fortification (LSFF) in Foni, Bwiam


The objective of the taining participants will develop the skills to apply Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC), and the Inter Personell Communication (IPC) effectively in their work.


Serign Faye, veteran broadcaster one of the task force officers applauded the organisers for the training. saying they have facilitated a conducive learning environ for all the participants.


Antoine Mendy, of CRS thanked NANA for successfully conducting the training.


Aziz Ceesay, Director of SBCC at NANA expressed delight and extended gratitude to the partners for their unflinching support to NANA, geared towards improving the nutritional status of the country.


Mutarr Seckan, Cadet Certification Officer at the Gambia Bureau Standards said the training has equiped him to acquire requisite knowledge on the effectivee use of the SBCC materials.


“The training will enable me to have more understanding of SBCC approaches on Life Scale Food Fortification.


The facilitators have delve to the core of the training. Basically, I have lot of knowledge regarding the of the SBCC materials”.

Mr Essa Dampha, the outspoken aide on media for President Adama Barrow, asserted that the President has the prospects of winning the 2026 election with a landslide.

Mr. Dampha also described President Barrow as a problem solver, not a firefighter er, emphasizing that his principle is to investigate the genesis of the problem and find a duration solution to it.

“his development trajectory is more like a problem solver, not a firefighter. When there is a problem, he reacts quickly and finds out the root course of that problem. He worked on that and found a solution. He is a proactive leader.” he remarked. 

Reacting to the recent allegations of vote rigging by the NPP, Mr Dampha said the government has distanced itself from such irresponsible and baseless allegations. He commended the charismatic Information Minister Dr Ismailia Ceesay, who applauded him for changing the government information flow dynamics.
